Need reliable forecast data for daily and weekly maintenance planning, or knowing when to pull your team out of the field? Indji Watch gives you the ability to set extreme temperature and wind thresholds and alert your team if these thresholds are going to be exceeded in the next few hours or even 48 hours in advance. Indji Watch also uses cutting edge resources to allow you to view the upcoming eight hours of forecast radar data overlaid on a map with your assets using the advanced High Resolution Rapid Refresh (HRRR) model from NOAA. Additionally, our Forecast Summary will provide you with a seven-day forecast of multiple weather parameters including temperature, precipitation, wind gusts and ice accumulation among others. This can be viewed daily or hourly for the seven-day time period. The weather forecast is updated hourly using the latest weather observations, radar data and model information so you can confidently schedule maintenance and repairs.

River flood monitoring has been valuable to our customers in HP Gas Operations, Transmission and Distribution who are interested in alerting based on the closest vulnerable assets. The asset specific alerts by Indji Watch give extra time for field crews to sand bag substations and protect vulnerable equipment, or for operations personnel to determine if functions should be diverted  from at-risk substations, and erosion prone foundations for power structures, microwave towers, HP Gas valves and HP Gas pipelines.

Indji Systems partners with Vaisala, who owns the National Lightning Detection Network, to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date storm and lightning data.  The location accuracy has improved over the years and now plotting of the strikes can be accurate to within 100-150 meters, helping pinpoint fault locations quickly, determine if a line can be safely reclosed, thereby preventing potential equipment damage and more efficiently schedule your outage response teams.

Indji Watch is the only solution that combines wildfire data from multiple sources including satellites, local, nationwide, private and governmental agencies, and alerts you to wildfires threatening your assets.

With Indji Watch, you not only receive threat alerts based on a proximity you choose, but we also provide data on the size of the fire, containment and the distance the fire is from each of your lines, substations and transformers. Automated alerts will update from early indicators like satellite hotspots and current smoke plumes as frequently as every five minutes, and update on changes in the fire status as soon as responding agencies report updates in size, areas of impact and containment.

The Lightning Fault Analyst will also give you the strength, or amplitude in kiloamps (kA), of the lightning strike and what time the strike occurred.

Our lightning partner Vaisala's U.S. National Lightning Detection Network® (NLDN) is the most scientifically accurate and reliable lightning information system, monitoring cloud-to-ground lightning activity across the continental United States and Canada. Vaisala's Global Lightning Dataset GLD360 service provides real-time lightning data for accurate and early detection and tracking of severe weather generated by a world-wide lightning detection sensor network.


Global Weather Corporation forecasts and models use proprietary technology to deliver real-time weather forecasts and model data based on core technologies developed at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and has been proven to deliver the highest level of accuracy.


NOAA provides the High-Resolution Rapid Refresh (HRRR), a real-time 3-km resolution, hourly updated, cloud-resolving, convection-allowing atmospheric model which Indji Watch uses for forecasting critical hazard potential across the US.


BLIDS, the lightning information service of Siemens, owns and operates a precision lightning detection network across western Europe. Their network operates using the Vaisala hardware. BLIDS uses more than 155 connected measuring stations in Europe and is accurate up to 100 m.
